accessing sd card data

Is there a way you can access the information you drag onto your sd drive from the computer.. i drag this apk but i cant seem to find it on the phone. appreciate the help.


btw when i go to settings and select sd card storage it tells me my sd card storage is unavailable ..

Download Astro File Manager from the Market and you will be able to locate and open the file.

hey, velopirate quick question. i just downloaded astro manager what are all those folders. (.footprint - .trashes and so on.

I have been lurking for awhile. I joined rback, just to tell you what I do!

When I plug my phone in, I slide the menu down from the top of the phone and touch "dock" or whatever it is. When I do, I simply select "mount" or whatever it is, and both pop up.

Its silly, but it works.

+1 for Astro file manager. Probably the most helpful and useful app I have.

FWIW, my sd card mounts automatically. Check your settings and you might remove and reinstall your sd card.

He means that he dragged the apk to his phone from his desktop, but can't find a way to access the apk on the phone. As others have said, Astro is the answer.

Also, OP: the SD card is unavailable to the phone when the phone is connected to the computer in "Disk Drive" mode.
