I am confused as to why this is blank.

App in use: Ggens emulator

Welcome to Android Central! Can you use a standard file manager app like Total Commander, and navigate to /storage/emulated/0 (or storage/sdcard0)? Is the custom tone in the Notifications directory? And you are talking about a custom tone that you downloaded, right? Remember that preinstalled tones are not accessible to the user unless the device is rooted.

You PM'd me that you want to move a downloaded sound file into the Notifications directory. You can use a good file manager app like Total Commander to move the file (which is probably in the Download directory) to the Notifications directory. Alternatively, you can connect the phone to your computer via USB cable, wipe down the notification panel to make sure it's connected via MTP (aka File Transfer), open Windows Explorer on the computer, and drag and drop the files there.

Download SD Maid from the play store and use the Explorer feature. Best APP around for everything needed. Plus, no adds, very light in the memory department and it's even more useful when you root!
