Accessing Video Files via ES File Manager

Hi All

I recently installed ES File Manager on my Kindle Fire HD. Unfortunately, when I use EFM to find and view MP4 videos on my Kindle there's a problem with the sound.

If I view the same videos directly via the Kindle video software they work fine. Is there a problem with EFM and MP4 ?

Do you mean playing video files? I use MX Player which works flawlessly.

I find an MP4 file via ES File Manager, click on it and am given the choice of using the ES viewer or Kindle's own software. The problem occurs using either software (ie sound breaks up). If I access the same video via Kindle's own Personal Videos app, no problem.

I had problems too with some videos so I downloaded MoboPlayer by turning on alternative app sources in Developer settings and googling MoboPlayer APK (i used the drawer site) and it's been working fine. I use MX player on my droid but it does not like the fire.
