Avoid the AT&T Speck cases

I'd highly suggest to avoid the Speck case from AT&T. It's one pain in the arse to get on and off, it kept turning my sound up and down, vibrate on and off, and also it's just as shinny and slick as the bare phone itself. I just got it in the mail and already have the return label on the box to send it back tomorrow. However, I really am enjoying the $8 clear TPU case from Amazon. It looks great on the white Vivid, you can even still see the detail of the metal battery cover and that you have a white phone. I'll get a better pic if anyone is interested, the main pic on Amazon is more like a smoked cover then the clear one you get like this pic:

I got the Vivid the day it came out...I deck mine out with the SAFPWR Fusion 2 case. Battery charging case...love it...I am a heavy user and the battery with the case is kicking tail...Loving the phone...Past phones - Atrix 2 (returned it for the Vivid, loved it though), Atrix, Captivate.

Fedex just delivered mine today. A little heavy, not too bad though. Two color options...I got the blue one. Very nice case. Pleased with it, no regrets. Oh, I think someone else had asked if the case could be used with the phone "face in" Yes, I just tried.

do you mind posting some pics with it on the phone? very interested in this case, but want to know more on it before i drop $50 on it. i have a BAD habbit of buying way too many cases for my phone lol

I do not mind at all. I understand about the whole case buying thing....I have a "grave yard" of various cases. I will say iot was a bit "tedious" putting it on the first time...the outer layer. Just took a few extra minutes to work it around to make everything fit. I do, very much like the case. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the pics! Im just about sold on the case now! I do have a request for one more picture though. Can you take one of the phone next to the case (put together as if it were on the phone) showing the difference in thickness? I know it wont be a lightweight, but im just curious as to how much bulk it adds. Thanks

I'm torn between getting the Otterbox Defender in blue (just as you pictured it), or waiting for Siedio to come out with the Convert for it. Either way, I need a bulletproof case for my Vivid.

I'm torn between getting the Otterbox Defender in blue (just as you pictured it), or waiting for Siedio to come out with the Convert for it. Either way, I need a bulletproof case for my Vivid.

The Defender is a three layer case, similar to the Seidio Convert. What I like about the Convert is that it has a sturdier holster and covers for the camera lens and LEDs, where the Defender doesn't.

i think the defender will be too thick for my taste then. i am using the acg case from the att store and i will get the sedio surface case with the holster.

I just got the saFPWR Fusion 2 case for my Vivid today from the local AT&T store. It was a little pricey and I could have gotten it on ebay for cheaper but I needed it more sooner than later.

So far, I'm loving it

Just picked up my Otterbox Defender yesterday and I love it so far! And an fyi for anyone who is looking at this case, they have changed from generic silicone to a tpu outer shell, making it much more pocket friendly.

Seidio now has the Seidio Convert Case and Holster available on their website for order and with Free Standard Shipping. Ordered mine tonight.

I had one for my Inspire and it was probably the best case for a smartphone I have found to date. Feels just about as protective as an Otterbox bit doesn't feel so bulky and the spring loaded clip keeps the phone from falling out of the holster.
