Accidentally let battery drain to 0

Normally I can leave it on/locked overnight without charging it, but because it's summer and the wifi constantly disconnects and reconnects, the battery drained to 0. Doing that once won't harm my battery too much right? (The wifi is diconnecting and reconnecting right now as well....)

No. Not if you only let it happen occasionally, it won't do any harm. Battery capacity reduces over time naturally, and the occasional discharge to shutdown (which isn't really anywhere NEAR 0% as far as the battery itself is concerned) makes such a small contribution to that decline you'll never notice it.

"because its summer and the wifi constantly disconnects and reconnects, the battery drained to 0" I think we need more elaboration on that.
So summer is causing the Wifi to malfunction, or it already is having issues and summer is a bad time to charge the phone?

I don't think it's bad at all in fact I do I once a month as it actually helps my battery if its acting abit weird.

I won't kill a battery but it is totally unecessary and definitely hard on them. It WILL shorten their lifespan. Try to never let the battery get below 15-20%, staying above 30% is even better.

BTW, the battery actually doesn't reach 0%, the charging circuitry actually shuts things down at around 2-5% regardless of what the meter may say. That's because if it actually fully discharged, it may be unrecoverable.

I don't know how to explain but when it's summer and gets really hot, the wifi becomes terrible. Disconnevts and reconnects often.

Thank you. Yeah I always started charging around the 30% range. This is the first time something like this happened.

The wetter the air the better reception. I can't explain it, but it is a fact that some engineers could easily explain.
