Accidently deleted the Camera file in the cache. Is there anyway to recover the pic without rooting?

I have tried several different free programs I found online but after going through the motions they either tell me the phone isn't supported or must be rooted. I tried several more programs in an attempt to root the phone.
Is there a clear cut way to recover the pictures that were deleted without jumping through a bunch of hoops?

Welcome to Android Central! What do you mean by "the Camera file in the cache"? Do you mean that you deleted the /DCIM/Camera directory from Internal Storage?

I have been trying to find a reputable program for rooting. I found King Root.
Does any one have any experience with this? If not, are there any others that work well?

I used the files and directions, in the thread below, with no issues.
If you are new to rooting, I recommend much reading and YouTube watching, prior to attempting. Research fastboot commands, TWRP and Magisk.
