Accounts & sync error

I have a rooted Inspire but the Accounts & sync option under Settings is giving me the following error: "Sorry! The application Settings (process com.android.settings) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." and then has the Force Close button below with no other option. I've tried rebooting the device and pulling the battery for several minutes to restart but no luck. Please help!! Thanks.

I un-rooted the phone and reverted to factory settings. Then rooted it again- now it seems to work fine.
