Accounts & Sync issue

Has anyone else noticed that your email data and sync settings reset every now and then. This is the 2nd time it has happened to me. This morning I had been wondering why I hadn't got any emails and went to check the account and noticed the sync schedule had reverted back to the original out of the box settings?? Very strange, as soon as I made an adjustment and sync'd again the email showed up.
 
Did you make any changes to the account. I notice tha any changes to teh account setting re-creates the account as opposed to updating it
 
I found another thread about something similar, I ended up installed the email.apk from the droid and haven't had any issues since. I think its the HTC email app that is the problem.
 
Come to think of it I did make a change to the signature and out going Name associated with the account yesterday evening. I guess that reset the account. Thanks.
