Acer Spin 713 keeps crashing...

[Android Central Question]

I don't know if this is an issue specific to this chromebook or just chrome in general. I've had this Spin 713 for two months. For most of that time (at least 1 month) it has been freezing and then shutting down. It first freezes with no mouse control and remains that way for 1-2 minutes and then closes. I restart and all is fine for a few hours.

Is anyone else having this issue? Thanks for any comments.

Hi there. This is not a chromebook generic issue. Sounds like a hardware issue. Can you power wash the device to set it back to factory settings and see if that cures the problem. Otherwise I think it could be hardware.

Welcome to Android Central! Is this a brand new unit, or did you get it used/refurbished/renewed?

Also, are you on the Stable channel, or one of the others?
