Activate Airplane mode from the lock screen

Hi everybody,

I upgraded my S7 Edge to Nougat last week, and now I've noticed that I cannot de-/activate Airplane Mode/WiFi/Bluetooth from the lock screen/quick settings panel. I am prompted to log in every time I click the Airplane icon from the locked screen.

Any idea if there is a setting where I can control this? Thanks!

I would have thought that would be an improvement in security..

And, as always, it comes at an inconvenience price But really, what improvement in security does it bring? In case somebody steals the phone, he can shut it down and take the sim card out, till it reaches a location without wifi connections...

I too desire this ability for quick access to airplane mode. I use it frequntly. There is little security gain with this change. I would prefer the option to configure this setting.
