Activate Early Too?

Oops, posted this in the wrong place first....
So, in the chance we get our new EVO a day early, say Thursday.... Can we activate it then too, or do we need to wait until Friday the 18th?

I'm sure you can activate it as soon as you have it. Those that already have the phone to review certainly have activated it.
