activated but still see the icon?

I swaped my phones, Optimus V to the Triumph, its activated but i still see the "Activate" icon is this normal?

If you are talking about the icon in the notification bar, yes. It comes and go. sometimes when you reboot the computer the icon shows up and after a while it disappear.
If you talk about the activation app it will also stay there. Plus once in a while you will need it. If the 3g connection get stuck you can run the activation app, wait for the 1...2...3 cycle to complete (get an error message) and normally you are back online.

I had to activate a second time before the Activate icon disappeared.

What i did if you are rooted was backed up com.telespree.android.client.apk the activate app then uninstall it that worked now its back again. So idk now lol.
