Activating unlocked S9+ on Verizon

If I purchase an unlocked S9+ directly from Samsung, will activating it on Verizon be as simple as inserting the Sim card from my S8? Or, will I need to go to the Verizon store?

If the sim card is already activated, which it sounds like it is, then yes you'll be able to just insert the sim card and keep it moving.
