Activation after Rooting Xoom?

When I bought my Xoom, I had it activated on the Verizon network at the time of purchase. I am now thinking about rooting my Xoom with the one click method. Do I need to re-activate my Xoom again to get my 3G access when the rooting is done? If yes, how do I do that? Will flashing with a custom Rom affect my 3G access?

When you reboot after rooting your Xoom will connect to VZW and re-activate itself.

There are no custom ROMs yet but they shouldn't affect any 3G access.

adb/fastboot is always more fun and informative, I think one clicks are good after you did it the first time and if you have to get it done again and don't want to type or copy & paste 3 or 4 lines .
