Activation fee

I also do not like being charged an activation free for the same phone line every time I change phones. If I'm using my same line contract after contract why should Sprint and other mobile phone carriers be allowed to recharge this free of using the done line that was originally activate. This makes no sense at all from consumers perspective.:eek::confused::thumbdown::thumbdown:

They told because the FCC charges them to link to a new HEX blah blah number. Well I pay you monthly no need to give me things like that up front. its just stupid to say 150 off when its more like 110. its BS is what it is
 
I got the fee waived, but only because I tried to do a return of a defective phone and was told that only retail locations can approve a return for screen problems, drove to a store, was told that the store couldn't help me because the phone hadn't been officially released yet, and had to have the sprint store call their escalations number to connect me to the department that could actually process the return. When I called to activate the replacement I was able to have a supervisor credit the original activation fee as a one-time courtesy.
