Hey guys,
Got a quick question for the jelly bean/activation gurus. I'm using bugless beasts rom and yesterday I had to switch to my iPhone(don't ask why). Well I was under the impression that once a Verizon 4G LTE sim card had been used and the deactivated it couldn't be reactivated. So this morning I ran and picked up another one. I went online, entered all the information in(IMEI and LTE sim number) and popped it in my galaxy nexus. Well the phone wouldn't activate. So I wiped it and re-installed the rom and it still wouldn't activate. I called Verizon and they said when switching to another LTE sim card this can take awhile and activation can be delayed. I'm worried that either the rom or the use of JellyBean is affecting activation. Can anybody shed some light on this one?

I mean... probably no use worrying. If Verizon said the sim card activation can take a while, give it a while before you panic :)

I'm curious as to why you had to deactivate your old sim when switching to the iPhone, since the iPhone doesn't take the sim anyway..

Well, I just tried activation again. I've waiting about 35 minutes and still nothing. What is weird is I have data because I can access the internet through Chrome but can't send myself a text or when I call out the call ends immediately. Any idea's?

I have a feeling it has nothing to do with the ROM... I reactivated my data with new sim card... was waiting around the VZ store for it to activate... turns out I had Data turned off... doh...!

Well the Verizon level 2 rep I just spoke with said it had to do with the SIM card even though it's pulling data. Yes, it was pulling 4G data when connected to LTE and 3G data. We even factory reset the phone twice. Again when reset it was still on BugLess beasts Jelly Bean ROM.

So you need a sim I take it.. I'd be sure to restore to a stock backup or factory images before taking it into vzw tho, just to be safe.

Also the factory reset you did shouldn't change your system, so it's expected it would still boot into whatever ROM you had on there.

Can anybody give me a link to the factory image? I might honestly try that and reactivate the phone.
