ActiveSync while roaming

I have my email setup to deliver messages via ActiveSync when they arrive. It works fine while I am in Sprint coverage, but it won't "push" my email when I am roaming. If I manually sync, the emails come through. Any ideas?

Have you checked... Settings / Wireless controls / mobile network settings/ data roaming (should be checked)???

Yes, I allow data roaming. Still no go.

I am not familiar with ActiveSync on Android but perhaps in the application that controls ActiveSync there is a roaming option that needs to be set as well.
