I'm trying to login to a website to view home surveillance. It will not show the content of the website, when I do it from a computer I have to click on the WebRecClient Activex Control Module at the top of the page. Can the Droid do this? Could not find a thread on this subject. Thanks

I think you will need flash player 10 to do this... Its well on its way now that the Droid has been Rooted...

Flash has nothing to do with activex controls. I don't believe activex works on winmo either. Some security cams like axis also have java to enable you to vew them rather than the imbedded activex control. If this is not the case, i don't believe you'll be doing it from your phone.

I was thinking more along the lines of, now that droid is rooted, maybe they can finger out how to make it work.

unless the control was compiled for specifically for it i doubt it. ActiveX is Microsoft proprietary. But I'm done being negative about it. Eitherway. Enjoy.
:)

It looks like it might be specific to that site. "WebRecClient Active X control Module" is what I click on when loading the page on the computer. I was hoping there was a setting that I missed that would allow this. Oh well! Thanks for the help.
