adapters for Galaxy Tab A

Hi, I have a Galaxy tab A. Is there any adapter to hook it up to a projector? I can seem to find one. It has to be for a Tab A.

Welcome to Android Central! You typically need to connect a device to a projector using an MHL adapter, and unfortunately the Tab A does not support MHL. You could try something like a Chromecast instead, if you have access to a wi-fi network where you plan on using it.

A chrome cast would help for a tv but what about a LCD projector? The Tab A 9.7 came with PowerPoint, and the size is great for such creation (unlike a phone screen) but the inability to project from the device is baffling.

If the LCD projector has an HDMI input, then you should be able to use the Chromecast there as well.

The inability to project is due to the lack of MHL support--and this is probably because the Tab A is meant to be a budget/midrange device, so that's one of the features that was omitted to cut costs.
