Adaptive Battery feature

I turned off the Adaptive battery feature for a while. Wondering if, when enabled, it could keep a weather app from updating the current temperature displayed in the notification bar?

I turned off the Adaptive battery feature for a while. Wondering if, when enabled, it could keep a weather app from updating the current temperature displayed in the notification bar?

I would expect that it could in some situations such as when power savings mode is active, or when it puts some apps into "deep sleep" to conserve battery during times it has learned you aren't using your phone ( such as your normal sleeping hours ).

One thing you could do to "Green light" the app so that even the adaptive battery shouldn't have any impact would be to designate the specific app to operate "unrestricted" at all times, as below:
