Adaptive Brightness too low?

As of yesterday, my Pixel screen has gone too dim with Adaptive Brightness turned on.

Anybody else run into this?

Mine looks about the way it normally does. I do not use it much anymore. Used it a lot at first but I keep it toggled off and just adjust my brightness manually

Looks like when messing with settings I accidentally turned the brightness slider down. Didn't realize with Adaptive on that brightness was still adjustable. All good now.

AB on every phone I've owned has been too dim. I never use it.

What I have noticed on the pixel is that the adaptive brightness adjusts in noticable increments. Much more so than my Nexus 5
