ADB cant find my device

[Android Central Question]

I have a Huawei Ascend that wont turn on stays in black screen. I tried to find it with adb and it will not connect. I tried volum up and volum down and power and different combos and nothing. simply doesn't connect. I want to flash it with a rom so it will work again but need it to connect to ADB. Anyone out there have any ideas
