Ok, I've read the threads, done the sdk and If I had hair I'd pull it out. Still cant get HTC Sync to work or find any ADB/ drivers at all. Getting pretty frustrating. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. Any easy help for me out here? Again, yes I have tried the earlier threads and sdk. Thanks.

Download and install unRevoked 3.1. Let it install the drivers. What you need are the hboot drivers for your device. Or startup your "SDK setup.exe" in your SDK folder. Select to download the "Usb Driver Package, revision 3". After it downloads plug in your phone and when it shows up with no drivers select update drivers. Surf to the folder your newly downloaded drivers are in and select it. Done.

If it tells you no compatible drivers found open up the "android_winusb.inf" file in your drivers folder and add this:

;
;HTC Incredible
%SingleAdbInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_0BB4&PID_0C9E
%CompositeAdbInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_0BB4&PID_0C9E&MI_01
%SingleBootLoaderInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_0BB4&PID_0C94

Below:

[Manufacturer]
%ProviderName% = Google, NTx86, NTamd64

Then try to install it again. Hope this helps!

Either I just don't get it or something is wrong with my phone and/or computer. I've tried the unrevoked, I've tried the SDK. Honestly, I feel a little leary about having to use a seperate program to load a native driver, but thats another story. ...Still no driver. I should just have to download HTC Sync and it should have it, right?? No go. Oh well, may have to break down and call HTC tech rep tonight.
Any other suggestions before I stop the car and ask for directions and get my man card revoked?

you tried using the incredible root method from youtube? I believe it has a link for the drivers

Well it's pretty simple. Either method I have posted will work. BTW these drivers are not native to windows, you have to install them.

Ok, done finally. Not sure where the problem occured but it took going into Device manager, uninstalling the device. While the device is attached, I restarted the computer which identified the need for the drivers, which coincidentally it could not find so I searched the SDK folder and it installed from there.
Sorry for the confusion and Qazme, I did try those methods and not sure why it didn't work but something was definitely amiss. I appreciate your help and glad its finally done and over with.

arrrggghhhhhh..... even after all that, its not working with the sideloader, says doesn't find ADB. I give up
