Hi everyone,
I auto-rooted a 1.0.1 stock nook and wanted to use live wallpapers but they wouldn't work. So I tried to install the ADB drivers onto my NC using this video here: (YouTube - How to Setup ADB for the Nook Color).
The problem I have is that my NC shows up in device manager as a different drive letter than the one he has and under a different name. Also, there are two devices labeled as a "nook color" (or something to that effect) which is really odd because I only have one plugged in. I try to follow the instructions all the way through and manually update this device's driver (tried it on both that were listed) but I was told that the drivers were up to date and could not be updated using the ADB stuff I downloaded from the video's link.

So, has anyone had problems like mind trying to install ADB? I'd like to have it on a stock rooted nook because there's a lot of cool stuff I'd be able to do. Hope someone can help.

I have the same problem but I am using 1.1. When I try and update the driver it kicks it out as in invalid driver. Hopefully we can figure this out. I have also posted this over on xda.

i got it to work a few days ago, then i don't remember why but i had to uninstall it from my system. since then i have not been able to reinstall it. i tried for a few hours last night and it was pissing me off. finally i just gave up. honestly i've got pretty much what i want on the NC so i'm not too worried.
