Add avatar to account

How do I add a photograph to the avatar in my account in this forum. When you click on Add avatar, it shows a file in my gallery. The photo is not in the gallery. How do I add a photograph as the avatar. Thanks.

At the top left go to "Settings" then "Edit Avatar". From there you can upload your avatar.

I don't have those options. I can go to ACCOUNT, AVATAR, and there is the avatar with the option to add. Again, it lists MY GALLERY with a photo in it. I want to use a photograph from Google Photos. How do I do that? Thanks.

I don't have a PC that I can use. I'm using a smartphone.

I would try then going to our mobile site and clicking "Request Desktop Website" from your browser to load the desktop version. From there it should behave like my screenshots.
