Add Gmail label

I've been trying to create a new label in Gmail. The instructions to tap the 'MORE' In the top right corner. I have no 'MORE' In the top right corner.
How do I create a new label? Thanks.

I, too, cannot see that option in the Android app anymore. Not sure if it's intentional or a bug (you can always report it as a bug through the app and hope it was and they fix it), but at present the only way to add a new label would be to do so from the web version of GMail.

You can only create or edit Labels in the desktop web interface. The app can only show them. It's been like that for as long as I can remember.

I just remembered that before I moved to Gmail, I used MYMAIL as my email client. That app has the ability to add labels. Fortunately, I kept the app on my Pixel.
As you use Gmail, MyMail is synced with Gmail and you can find all of your emails in that app as well. It's very useful in that regard.
I moved to Gmail because it has features that MyMail doesn't.

Problem is that Boogle's own support article mentions AND shows this in the app (and not the old old look either!).
