I am trying to upgrade my Note 3 to a 128GB memory card. I bought a Samsung Pro microSDXC UHS-1 Card that is Class(10) XCI

This card is formatted to exFat and my Note 3 see it.

I then copied my current SD card (32GB) to a folder on my MacPro and then copied all of that to my new 128GB card. I then add a bunch of my music on the that card.

I put the 128GB card into my Note 3 and start it up and the Note 3 sees it, I goto my music app and it does not see all my music, I then look at the files on the SD Card in my Note 3 and the music folders have nothing in them, they have been deleted. I take the 128GB card out of my Note 3 and check it on my MacPro and all the music is not there.

So how is it my Note 3 sees my 128GB card but deletes all my music? My 32GB card works fine.

I am running A5.0

Thank you for your time.

Is this music you paid for? If so, the first app that follows DMCA rules will delete any copyrighted music it finds. (But if you bought it at Google, you can download it all again for free - the server keeps a record of what you paid for.)

If it's not copyrighted music, you have a situation I haven't run across in over 40 years of developing software.

CDs you wrote the music for yourself, or CDs you bought (which doesn't give you rights to the music, it just gives you the right to play them). DRM-protected music on a CD can still be DRM-protected when you put it into the card. (And t's definitely copyright protected if it's a CD that was sold - recording it copyrights it. See what happened the first time - RIAA Trial Jury Slaps $2 Million Fine on Jammie Thomas | Threat Level | Wired.com.)

People have been putting the music they buy on cassettes, Ipods and Cellphones for years so that is not the issue. My pictures and music are being deleted once I put the 128GB SD Card in the phone, mind you there is a lot of the same music/pictures on my 32GB, that work fine, that I put on the 128GB that get deleted. So there is something else that is causing this. I am thinking it might be some kind of cached data cause this?
