Didn't work, it gave me a smart screen, not another blank home screen.

Long press an empty space on your home screen to bring up the add a widget screen. Then long press your home page on that screen.

Are you looking for another screen only? ... Just "pinch" with thumb and finger any screen and you will get this...

I got it with a pinch in. Then there was a plus to add a blank screen. Thanks for responding.
