Adding a widget

I have searched the forums, looked at the guide but I have failed to figure out how to add a widget to a screen. I use the beautiful widgets clock, four square and Facebook widgets but I cannot get any to add to any page!

Please help!

Click on the Apps icon, at the top of the Apps window you'll see Apps. Widgets, click on Widgets. Find widget you need, tap and hold, drop onto screen.

Go to the play store, menu, my apps. Touch the tab at the top that says widgets. It will show all available widgets. Drag and drop from there. The old way of pressing and holding the home screen does not work in ICS.

Yeah I am dumb, I kept clicking on the arrow instead of the word widgets! Lol
