Adding locations to AccuWeather?

I've been trying to add my hometown to my weather widget but when I search for it, it does not come up. Does anyone know how I can add locations that don't come up in search to the weather? it's a fairly large city, so it's not some podunk, overlooked town.

also, I was curious if anyone had problems with the weather animations, after you unlock your phone, still run even if you have the animations turned off in your settings? It's not a big deal but I try to conserve as much battery as I can.

Thanks.

This would be a great answer, if anyone has it. AccuWeather will show my location (Murrieta, CA) and my forecast, but if I put in the city name it has no information, so I can't save it. My wife can on her E4GT, which uses AccuWeather as well. WTF?

This I believe is an HTC app limitation. Yes, it signs into Accuweather- but the city database I believe is bound by the app. (Strange decision on HTCs part) This app works this way on my HTC View Tablet- and yet- on the same device, using another app like beautiful widgets, I can get it to actually display my city and yet they are BOTH using Accuweather.

That said- while it may not list your local city- if you have it set to your geolocation it's displaying the correct weather- it's only displaying the wrong city name. It's lame though if you want to have multiple citys to scroll though and you can't find your city's weather if you're not IN the city (for instance- checking the weather "at home" while you're away.)

That's precisely what I want to do. Very poor from HTC. This town isn't a big city but it's a fairly large town and should be recognized. In fact, the nearest recognizable location is 45 minutes away in both directions. Very odd.

Actuallyy problem is the other way round. I can have any city I want on my HTC. I have 4 saved. On my Samsung I can't even findy phone with location services on and it's the same app, so version. Anyone have an idea why why why?
