Adding Phone Cost To Bill

Can you have Verizon add the cost of an upgraded phone to your next months bill? Ie: I would rather pick up the Note 2 on launch day and just have them bill it to my account so I can pay it off on my next bill. Or pay something towards the new phone and just bill the rest.

I only asked because you used to be able to do that or at least put part of it onto your next bill. I did when I purchased the Blackberry Storm many moons ago. Paid about half of it in store and sent the rest to my bill.

You can bill the whole thing... I have taken up to 4 months to pay off billed equipment.

I just added extra to my regular amount and the balance carried month to month

I have done the online thing once, but you've an option for credit card, gift card or bill to account.

Never saw anything saying I had a specific time to pay it off... It did carry over as unpaid balance

Yes.. I've always upgraded my phones this way. I go in the store, pick out which one I like and tell them to put it on my account. As long as you have good credit with them and have never Missed a payment they should let you do this.
