Adding Shortcuts to Home Screen not working in 2.2 Froyo?

My Fascinate is running Superclean 2.6 Froyo. It will not allow me to add shortcuts to my home screen. I have had a couple things not allow this with the latest being bookmark shortcuts. I also can't seem to add/delete home screen pages. I used to have the little gear option in the upper left corner like I did on 2.1.

Any fix for these issues?
1. Can't Add Shortcuts to homescreen
2. Can't Add/Delete pages

1. How are you trying to add shortcuts to the homescreen? The way I do it is long press on the screen, choose shortcuts from the menu that pops up, then choose my shortcut.

2. What launcher are you using? I think you hit menu=>settings=>display settings in the AOSP launcher to change the number of homescreens. For Launcher pro you hit menu=>preferences. For ADW you hit menu=>ADW settings.

I am using the stock launcher and those options for adding/deleting pages are not in my settings.

I am long pressing the bookmark in the browser and choosing add to home screen. Also in Audio Manager, you can make custom profiles and save a shortcut to the home screen. Both of these worked fine in 2.1 and not in 2.2.

Are you trying to add a shortcut to a web page to your homescreens? I guess I misunderstood. I thought you were trying to add a shortcut for an app. Sorry.

To the best of my knowledge super clean don't come with the stock launcher. you're using the aosp launcher probably. The little gear is a touch wiz feature. Try an after market launcher like launcher pro or adw launcher to get the customize options.

Plan b to add bookmark shortcuts (or a for me) is to touch and hold on the home screen and select shortcuts> bookmark>"your favorite page"

I ,and I believe a lot of us, are using Launcher Pro or Launcher Pro Plus. ADW is pretty good too, but I switched from that to LP.

Like Sheepdog Elite said, and now that I think about it I agree, I don't think you can change the number of homescreens in the AOSP launcher that comes with superclean.
