Address in Contacts doesn't open

If I tap in an address in my Contacts, shouldn't it open up in Maps? Nothing happens when I tap or long press it.

I have the same problem, I open a contact and tap the address and nothing.... Under app associations I have maps selected for both physical and map address. Bloatware At&t navigator is disabled. This new map/navigator update merge has broken everything! HTC One X+ on At&t. Anybody have a work around beside rooting?

Yes. This is annoying. Is there an alternate app for managing contacts on android?

Thought I could remember a workaround but I think I was thinking of something else.

Latest map update (today's 7.1) fixed this for me. But now it crashes whenever I press the home button. HTC car nav is still broken

Oh... You can just start typing a contact's name into the search bar at the top of the map. Then select your contact from the list of search results. It pops right to the address on the map.
