AdFree not working for anyone else?

I just rooted my device to get rid of all the bloatware. Now I am interesting in doing away with ads in games/apps. I downloaded AdFree and rebooted, but it doesn't work. I still see ads in various apps/games.

Anyone else have this issue?

Yep. Still seeing ads in words with friends and angry birds.

Sometimes you may have to reboot to see it take effect.

Anyone have any suggestions? I've tried uninstalling and re-installing. I always reboot after opening the app. This was one of the few reasons I wanted to root. I wonder why it works for you guys and not for me. Hmm.

Some apps it will not block adds. But I run it and what I do is fine it works.

Same here. AdFree is successfully blocking ads in TweetCaster and GasBuddy, for example.
Just installed Angry Birds Seasons 2012 and I'm seeing ads.

works fine for me on friends and birds. Havent tried the new birds though, the app may not be updated to block that one yet?

I have the same issue. I just rooted EVO 4g and it let's more ads through than it blocks!
Seems pretty worthless.
