Adobe Flash 11.0 (Tested & Working)

Apologies it took me longer than a day to post this. Been busy as of late.

Here's what other users have reported works for using Flash on a stock ROM. Unfortunately, the lib files are for Flash 10.3 and I don't have time to get them from the current version. So, those of you on stock ROMs will have to settle for 10.3, which is basically the same as 11 but without Adobe settings in the app drawer and a few minor tweaks.

step 1: install original flash player 11.0

step 2: copy lib file to /data/data/com.adobe.flashplayer/lib

step 3: change the permission of all .so file like

step 4: that's all enjoy.

That is Root Explorer in the screenshot. You'll at least need to be rooted and have some sort of root explorer to achieve this workaround.

Nope flash still doesn't work for me, I did everything as it says used root explorer to change permissions too and rebooted my phone and when I go to sites with flash content it shows a question mark boxed icon... like flash player isn't doing anything I use Dolphin HD.

@mark; when you're finished rebooting can you go into your /data/data/com.adobe.flash folder and tell me if the libraries are still there? Sometimes for me they disappeared...

Anyone have a custom rom other than team alphas pointless one on their optimus q? I'm trying to find one. Looks like nobody is making any tho.

There is Team Hydro's that I am aware of. If you're looking for a pretty interface there is a universal tool called ROM Kitchen available online.

Not working on Coby Kyros MID7120

I got it to install and can see it on my app list (farther than I've gotten with any other flash download). I rebooted and tried on my stock browser, Opera Mini and Dolphin HD but no such luck. I'm having difficulty rooting the thing (Coby Kyros MID7210) and I've just about given up on that since I was able to install the Android Market. Do you think this flash patch would work if I rooted it? I do have an Armv6 processor.

Thanks

I simply do not know the answer to that. Root does not seem to factor into the process at all... and no, under no condition should Opera Mini be able to play flash files to the best of my knowledge.

it works on my slider, just dropped on my sd and used easy installer, im running stock browser but the 11-28 gelato and ginger kernel

youtube is extremely slow when running in 360p, slideshow... gingerkernal and gelato 11-28. using dolphin HD. we REALLY need an overclock. even 100mhz

i did everything he said and did not get mine to be flash enabled, im using LGL55C optimus Q from straight talk

i got it rooted, custom recovery, hydro rom, adobe flash player 11.0 installed with the 10.3 lib files in the android home folder data/data/com.adobe.flashplayer/lib edited and permission edited, NOT SDCARD folder although there is also a data/data...etc folder in sdcard for adobe flash which i cant edit permissions for, i tried replacing them with the 10.3 lib files, but that doesnt work either, i've been trying for 2 days now to get flash working to no avail..:(

something i noticed was free apps on market when i started hydro, though it went back to normal once i setup my accounts etc. im not knowledgeable on mobile devices OS and ROMS etc so let me know what im doing and how do i get back the unlocked market?

ok I think I found whats wrong, after I reboot, all the .so files I moved into the phone data from the sdcard for the flash player lib folder is being deleted. my modifications are not being saved, is it my explorer? im using root explorer and es explorer, using either gives me same result after reboot.

:( this is killing me, 2 days trying to get it to work, overslept for work, late college assignments :( having no flash on my phone is really irritating.

The image in step 3 isn't loading, could someone please explain this step?

I have a rooted Optimus V, I installed Flash and it shows up in my applications list, but I do not see where to put all of the .so files. Under "/data" (using ES File Explorer) I only have two subfolders, one for Titanium backup and one for Twidroyd. Under "/Android" I have a subfolder "/data", and it has a whole bunch of "com.xxxxx.yyyyy" files, but no adobe.

Do I have to manually create this folder tree, "/data/data/com.adobe.flashplayer/lib"? Or, since it's not there, does that mean the Flash installation did not work properly (even though it shows up in my applications list)?

Thanks.
