Ads in the forum all the sudden!

Hi @Ryano89 here the main developer of the Android app, I'm looking this issue. Are you only seeing ads on forum threads or in the entire app (article list, into articles, and so)?

Forum threads only. It started about a month ago, and I tried using an adblocker(which I prefer not to do)and I still see them
 
Strange ... If you can provide the following info could be great to fix the issue:

1. Go to Lateral menu -> Settings -> Scroll down -> The value of Purchases (if you can share a screenshot with that could be wonderful).
2. An screenshot of the forum thread with the ads (we have several ads services integrated and need to know which is the source of the problem).
3. Finally, two screenshots of an article detail (one of the top, other of the bottom).

Please, don't use an adblocker during the above tests. Hope we can find the problem and fix it soon.

I'm not sure if attaching worked, but I've included everything you were asking for Isidoro. I've also been dealing with this issue for over a month, hoping AC was working on it. I've got ads in the news feed, in stories, and in the forum. I've paid for all three options. I don't necessarily mind that I lost out on that money, but I'm sick of the ads. Anything you can do to fix it is much appreciated.

@Ryano89 @QuayDog17 It seems that something is wrong with the subscription. I will need some more input to identify the problem, could you please send me this information by private message?:

1. Your current Google Play account. Go to Google Play app and check if you have multiple accounts. If so, make sure that the selected account is the one that made the subscription purchase.

2. Purchase ID. You can find this information in the email you received when making the subscription purchase.

I've double checked it and, the account I used to pay was my personal account, which is correct. I'm also on that personal account.

Additionally, I would have clicked the 12 month option, but I it it wouldn't let me, thus no screenshot.

This getting very frustrating, I've even tried installing adguard, which I don't want to use, and it won't even block the ads in the forum.
 
I have Adguard and never see any ads, if I turn it off my entire page is a list of ads and it takes ages to load... If I can't block the ads, I don't use the site. Period.

But we paid for ad free on the android central app.
 
That's all well and fine. I use an ad blocker when I'm on my computer as well. However, I've been following Android Central, and have been a member on and off, for 7 years now.

Very few websites will convince me to pay for a better experience. AC is the only one that has. Though the direction the articles are going isn't my favorite, I'll stick by it for now. After my ad free experience runs out again, I may change my mind or I might not.

Like Ryan said, it's been paid for. The service is supposed to deliver once paid. So far this time around, it hasn't.

We have deployed a new version(3.1.11.2) in beta channel that we hope will fix this bug. To upgrade to this version you need to be beta tester, if you're not yet please click the following link and follow the instructions:

https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.androidcentral.app

If you have already installed the app on your device it may take a while until you receive the update.

Could you confirm if this version fix the problem or not? Please, make sure that you have 3.1.11.2 installed, you can see it from Settings screens inside the app or in the Google Play app.
