Ads included in Android P

So I have a pixel 2 and since the new update I get ads on my screen when a text comes in. It doesn't come through the top anymore like it used to but the middle of my screen with an ad you'd see on a website. If I could post a picture I would. It's super annoying and I've checked the settings and looked at other stuff online and I haven't found a solution... Please help

What text app are you using? I'm not experiencing the same thing so it's likely to be something on your device.
