Hey I was looking into the task manager that comes on the phone by holding home and it seems pretty darn good. Is therea need for ATK. It seems like the built in one doesn't show all the programs as atk but atk also taxes the cpu quite a bit according to the built in taks manager. Let me know what you think and what your using so we can get a idea of what works best.

Dont use task managers, If your phone is slowing down do a restart. trust me I've been using Android since the G1.

I only use the stock one in order to kill the apps that I don't want to use.

Same here... the Android OS is doing a pretty good job of keeping managing my memory and keeping things nice and efficient, so I don't think I need another task killer... still looking for a task switcher, but I think I might download and try some later today...

Don't use task managers is kind of a bold statement. I am familiar with them and I know what to close and what not to and so on. I was hoping to hear from people like me who used them in the past to optimize effectiveness and battery. I am just wondering how the feel about the built in one. I am saying use atk either one should read about the taskillers and then decide for themselves

Sorry if this came out rude as this is not my intention

On another note I don't even think atk works on the epic. Atk reports about 80mb of memory wile the local taskman says around 190. Thoughts?
