Advanced Task Killer Issue

Sometimes when I attempt to input text, whether it be in the Messages app or the Browser, the phone knows that I am typing (i.e. the keys change color as if I am typing); however, my input is not registered in the display field.

I was told that this was happening because I was running ATK. I currently have my ATK settings set at:

Auto Kill Level -- Aggressive (Crazy is the most frequent, Agressive is the next level down)
Auto Kill Frequency -- When screen is off

I also have the Messages app in the ATK ignore list.

Is this happening to anyone else? I'd hate to get rid of it just because of this little nagging issue because it is such a great app, but I had ATK installed on my original DINC and it did the same thing.

Cheers

I've never run ATK so I'm not sure if this is causing you problem or not.

What I do know is you do not need ATK installed. The Android OS self-maintains your apps that are running. These types of apps actually do more harm than good. My advise is to uninstall ATK.

Thanks Valorian, I think your advice is probably my best bet.

Uninstall ATK and never look back. The system can maintain itself just fine. And that program eats up more battery than it can save.
