Advice for a Thunderbolt case?

So I just got a Thunderbolt last week, and I'd like to pick up a case & screen protector for it. I upgraded from the original Moto Droid, and none of the screen protectors that I found for that phone were any good. I tried 2 or 3 different ones before I just went without, but I want to get one for this phone. I'm also looking for a case for it. I'd prefer to not get a silicone case, I had one of those on my 1st gen iPhone and it was just a little loose, causing the phone to slide around just a little bit and leave scuff marks on the back.

I was thinking about the Skinomi Techskin, but have heard that those can leave some nasty residue if I remove it later on, and can be a hassle to install.

Anybody found a good screen protector and a case that won't add too much bulk for the TB?

Hi Walrus,

Congrats on TB :) if you go to Accessories for the Thunderbolt at the top of the forum you will obtain a lot of information on different cases. Hope this helps.

I see on the Amazon reviews for the Innocase II that there is a gap in between the bottom of the phone and the case. Have you guys noticed this or is there anything that you don't like about the case?

No I dont have a gap at all it is a nice tight form fit.
I love the case rubberised feel, felt inner lining, no sharp edges, thin but rigid, all the cut outs are in great locations. The USB cut out is even large enough to accept the body of the male part of the connect to get close to the body of the phone so that the plug goes all the way in. Seidio is quality stuff, LOL I brag enough on em I need to get on the payroll.

I would recommend bodyguards for the screen protector. Lifetime warranty even if u need to replace your phone, and its cyrstal clear unlike the sagging which has the orange peel look.

Highly recommend the Sedio Innocase II (case) and SGP Ultra Crystal. (screen protectors)

Sedio's fit is awesome, and feels good in the hand as well. Love everything about the case, just wish it came in more colors.

SGP (Steinheil) Screen protectors aren't tacky and feel just like glass. You can barely tell that a screen protector is there at all. I have tried the Crystal Clear (Ultra Crystal) and Anti-Fingerprint. (Ultra Fine) Both are great, I just choose the Ultra Crystal over Anti-Fingerprint because I don't mind wiping fingerprints away, and I want the best clarity I can get. The Ultra Fine screen protectors make the screen look a bit fuzzy.
