So I actually might be getting a replacement on my 6p and I think they are going to give me the option on size. Which size do you guys recommend and why. To me the perfect size phone is 5 inches. I'm highly considering going that route if they indeed replace mine so that's still up in the air right now but I should know within 24 hours. So I'm trying to decide which size is the best to get. What do you guys think I should get? Thanks for the advice!!

i would get the bigger size but thats becauze I prefer the larger screens. ypu really likke the 5" so Id say, go with the 5". That'll suit your needs the most.

It depends on you man, if you want big screen then go for larger screen size, otherwise you can replace 6p with other phone having great features.

"To me the perfect size phone is 5 inches. "

Sounds like you answered your own question. The screen is the only difference in the two. Me? I prefer the Pixel. It's big enough to interfere with other stuff in my pocket. But, if I were getting a phone to play games, I'd probably go with the larger screen.

Go with the 5" Pixel unless you think a phone that's a bit shorter than the 6P won't be too big.

Sounds like the 5 inch is the way to go. I've just always thought that 5 inches was the perfect size for a phone. It give you the best of both worlds.

Go to a store and try them both out. I've always used 5 phones but the pixel was my first 5.5

I could never go back to a smaller screen.

Right now my replacement is still being reviewed. It's been extremely hard to even get it to this point which the rep told me is a good sign bc they cut off the replacements on September the 20th. They typically don't even put it in for review as they have a strict policy now of no replacements any more. So if I do receive this replacement it will be bc of my luck and persistent calling to get it pushed up to the top. I've been very nice but have had to handle it like I'm closing a sales deal. Very carefully. It has not been easy at all. I'm shocked I got it this far as the first two calls I was cut off quickly with a no not in any way to now it under review which might happen. If it does I just can't decide on which screen size to go with. My 6p is a 5.7 inch which I consider that to be an XL but 5.5 isn't an XL to me so it kind of makes me just want to get the 5 inch and then down the road get my larger screen device in something 5.7 inches or higher. I like having one smaller screen and one larger screen and I have always thought that a 5 inch phone to the be the perfect size. My current set up now is an axon 7 mini 5.2 inch and a 6p 5.7. So I guess I could still get a 5.5 inch pixel for my larger screen

I have the XL because I need the extra real estate. I wear progressive lenses and I use a knitting app that puts a ton of info on the screen. Sounds like for your use-case the 5" would be fine, though.

i think the 2 main factors to consider are screen size and battery life. it seems like you prefer the 5 in size, so that's a point for the pixel. The xl has a bit more battery life, so if you're a heavy user without access to a midday charge, you might want to consider the xl.

For me, the pixel has been great. i got mine with last year's black Friday deal and i love it. it's good enough that i will be keeping it at least another 6 months before i consider replacing it with the new pixel.

Well Google squashed my hopes of a replacement so I'll be keeping my Nexus 6p for a while. My battery life has already improved after a buddy of mine showed me how to cut individual apps from running in the background. So my battery was taking the hit from apps and not degrading. I love the 6p but who knows on the pixel 2. Maybe it will grow on me. I appreciate everyone's feedback on size though. That will help with my next purchase.
