I'll tell ya. This day and age bluetooth headsets should just work but they don't so I need advice.
I just bought two BT's and neither work like they should on my S3. The Motorola command one works and works great but it kills my phone battery because it uses bluetooth share. It stays awake and drains my batt at 12-15% an hour. If I kill BT share the phone will sleep saving my batt but then it kills the name caller ID which is a must for me as I drive a truck for a living. Plus, the motospeak app does nothing to help it either and it's total crap. So I decided to buy the Samsung HM7000 to see if it would work better. Well to say, it doesn't use BT share so batt life improved drastically but it won't do name caller ID unless you use the free sync app which doesn't work on the S3 at all period. So my question is does anyone have any experience with these issues to lend a fellow androider a hand?
I also have the blueant Q2 but it sucks with Samsung phones (S2 and S3) because it has its own VC and most of the time, it takes 30 seconds or more to connect to phone VC to call someone. Ridiculous. Sometimes, it won't connect at all requiring me to cycle off/on for it to work. So this BT is a paper weight.
