advice please

Ages ago I found a s2 - went down all the relevant channels of trying to locate owner etc..

anyway I still have it - and wondered if there is anyway I can get it working as it is not accepting sim card but works great without a sim - i.e still downloading apps etc

I should think you can probably just get it unlocked....? Have you tried that?

How would I go about unlocking it? is it something I could do myself?
