I like the new dock at the bottom of the screen. I love that the orange adw ex icon has been replaced with an app drawer shortcut. The 4D app drawer is pretty neat as well. Still very smooth with screen transitions. But there is still just too much space left unusable at top and sides. Might have to keep launcher pro a little bit longer as my default. Only because of my customization add though.

Attached is screen shot of the new update, which is more tablet friendly.

Ya I'm really liking the new update alot so far. I like how they put the app drawer icon, it just looks and feels right. I do agree with you on the top bar issue, it would be nice to be able to slide a widget or app all the way to the top.

But as to the sides having to much unused space... just fiddle a bit with the columns and rows in the screen settings.

Here's my main screen both in landscape and portrait :

And the 4D app drawer does look slick on the Tab :

I have tried every combination of columns and rows and still have an inch on both sides that I can't use, I wonder if I did something to one of the other settings?

Yeah, I just set it up so I can swipe down and the dock pops down. They did some good work making this more honeycomb friendly.

Now that they added the app drawer icon I have the swipe down action set to open/close the dock bar and the swipe up action set to open/close the notifications. Swipe up use to be to open the app drawer.

On a note, you can hide the top bar. Was playing around this am and found this... Long press the screen to bring up the box where you can choose widgets and all... Tap "Launcher Actions" at the top of the list... Almost at the bottom you see "open/close action bar"... Place that on your home screen. Tap the icon, and the action bar closes. Only problem is that it doesn't stay closed, once you rotate the screen or turn off the screen it comes back. I does look really cool with it closed though.

I'm going to email the dev and see if their is a way to make it stick. And if not if they would be willing to maybe include it in the next update.

Worth a shot...

Anyone seeing issues with wallpaper positioning? I placed my wallpaper using Wizardii. ADW does not maintain the proper size/position in landscape mode. (wallpaper not centered on screen...its too low - as if it is positioning for portrait mode).

When I fiddle with various settings, I see the properly sized/positioned wallpaper for a split second, then it reverts back to the incorrect forms.

Anyone else see this, know a way around? ADW will not be usable for me this way.
