OK, bear with me here...
I have a myTouch 4G. I'm currently running ADWLauncher EX with ADWNotifier and I'm using WidgetLocker Lockscreen. I have icons on both my lock screen and home screen for mail, texts, calls. Each of these icons shows the correct number of mails, texts, and calls. If I select the icon to launch the particular app from the lock screen and then go back to the lock screen, the "bubble" counter resets like it should. If I select the icon to launch the particular app from the home screen and then go back to the home screen, the "bubble" counter also resets like it should.
The problem I am having is that when the (mail, text, calls) icon is launched from the lock screen, the bubble counter *only* resets for the icon on the lock screen - not the home screen. The converse is true, too. If I launch the icon from my home screen, the bubble counter on the lock screen does not reset.
There is some sort of disconnect between the ADWNotifier counters on the lock screen and the counters on the home screen. Am I missing something basic here or am I trying to do something that is not possible?
