I don't want to screw up my new phone by rooting. I'm willing to pay someone to do it for me.

So, if there is someone who can help, please let me know. My email is name.lojikle(at)gmail(dot)com and I'm in the San Fernando Valley. Or send me a PM.

Obviously I don't want to pay a bunch but I really would like to tether my new iPad (if it ever arrives) to my phone.

Just follow Cory's directions, take your time, give the phone time to do what it's suppose to do and it works fine. I did it and everything worked out fine. Now I just don't know what to do next. Need some help also.

I am coming from iPhone, so I have a very noob question:

If I root the STOCK ROM, and Google/HTC comes out with updated ROM (2.2.3, etc.), do I have to RE-ROOT again? Will I lost all my "root" app like TItanium Backup Pro?

When I had my iPhone, if I jailbreak (i.e. the rooting term for iPhone) my iPhone and Apple comes out with a new ROM, I have to RE-JAILBREAK the iPhone and it'll wipe out the phone, including apps, contacts, settings, etc.

Miami did take care of me. He spent well over an hour and more like two getting my phone rooted. He really took care of me.

All he asked in return was a "thank you." So...THANK YOU!
