After 4months, How's your S8/S8+?

Rockin' REAL hard. So good, see no reason for the Note 8. Too close to the 8+ that already rocks, REAL hard. The working FM radio being a nice bonus.

I was getting random rebooting until I turned off face detection unlocking. Now it's rock solid! I'm also loving the S8 inside my Daydream! It's THE best phone I have used in it! And I've used a Pixel, Pixel XL, AND a Moto Z! It runs cooler, and looks better! I'm really appreciating that always on display, and the surprisingly good battery life! And other clever feature like being able to set the phone to detect locations as secure and turning off the screen lock. (I have my home, the parents shore house and my work as those locations)

I can't imagine a phone being better at this point. Very fast and smooth...battery easily lasts all day and I use for business as well as personal.

My s8+ is slowing down a alot apps open when I did open them, bixby opens on its own I'm getting alot of lag and restarts and it gets very hot alot when it's not being used even when I close everything down

Mine is working as good as the day I got it. Still getting 6+ hours SOT per day.

If you have multiple biometric unlocking methods, turn one of them off! As soon as i turned off face detection and just left on finger print my restarts stopped. I still have "smart lock" trusted locations turned on.

Physically mine is fine. I use a case and a QMadix liquid glass screen protector so I'm protected.

Performance wise, no issues either.

My one problem just cropped up recently. I've got some dead pixels in the upper right of my screen. I took it to Verizon yesterday for a warranty replacement. It'll be here Monday.

My 8+ still works great. Finally got a screen protector that works and I have my otterbox. I'm hoping to keep this phone a good while.

Solid device..once I worked out my case issues it's really been a joy to own and use.

Definitely a warranty issue there. Glad you're able to get a replacement Monday. Did they say if it'll be the same color

Ouch! Did you get insurance? Not sure on that screen price. Replaced daughter's IPhone 6splus screen for $130 at a good local shop
I have insurance, but it doesn't affect anything so I'm just letting it ride.
