after 8hrs idle battery 75%

Dear forum,

I am using the pixel 8. I notice that after 8 hrs idle, the battery last about 30%.
Why is that.

Only because android is (extremely) busy with phoning home and sending user data?

As i sad, i am just curious what is going on.

Never had this on mu S21 FE

Welcome to Android Central! I assume that you mean the battery drops by 30% after being idle for 8 hours.

Have you checked your Battery Usage menu to see what app or system process is using the most battery?

Also, what's your cell signal like? Poor signal can drain battery.

Have you already tried a reboot, in case some app or process was going rogue?
