I've got Samsung Galaxy S6. After a software update, the sim card wasn't recognized and almost nothing worked. I was advised to do a hard factory reset and it went fine till I got to the "checking connection" part: It's impossible to connect to internet and now I'm blocked. During the reset there is a message in red: E:failed to mount /preload . I don't know if the 2 are connected. What should I do?

I think I'd reset the phone using samsung KIES software / or ODIN and the carriers firmware file. You do it with a computer and the software through USB. It sounds like you got a bad reset.
