After the OS 9 install I'm seeing weird behavior that I believe is due to pocketing the phone without a cover. As an example yesterday about 2 in the afternoon my screen when into that night view mode. That's supposed to turn off from, roughly, sunup to sundown. Maybe the screen touch sensitivity had been boosted?
